About Eleven28 Architecture
Eleven28 Architecture is a Boulder-based architectural studio providing residential design services throughout Colorado’s Front Range. Founded by licensed architect Renee Golobic, the firm is known for thoughtful, site-responsive design rooted in technical rigor, regulatory fluency, and a deep understanding of how people live in—and move through—their homes.
Eleven28 Architecture is closely involved in every phase of each project, from early feasibility studies and entitlement analysis through design development, permitting, and construction coordination. The firm works collaboratively with clients, builders, engineers, and city staff to ensure that design intent is carried through from concept to completion. Rather than pursuing a singular stylistic approach, Eleven28 prioritizes balance—aligning client goals with site constraints, neighborhood context, budget realities, and what is realistically approvable for each property.
The practice has extensive experience with remodels, additions, accessory dwelling units, and new residential construction, including projects within sensitive regulatory environments. Eleven28 regularly works with historic and older homes and has deep familiarity with the City of Boulder’s Historic Preservation Program and related review processes. This experience allows the firm to navigate complex approvals efficiently while advocating for architecture that respects existing character and supports contemporary living.
At its core, Eleven28 Architecture is committed to clarity, durability, and stewardship—creating well-crafted spaces that respond intelligently to place, policy, and the long-term needs of the families who inhabit them.
